But still they're the minority.So things that we can do is limited.Still the co-operation between non rag groups of different faculties is not sufficient to work against ragging. But we hope that we can change these things in near future....... There are lot of reasons for continuation of rag in universities

This is more so cos there's a growing wave of "non-Students Unionism" across the more urban-minded campus circuit. A sustained effort can surely minimize the rag. But, unfortunately, the authorities, non-rag groups, humanitarian on-campus bodies etc have failed to lay out a structured plan to even start out on such a venture. It is very disheartening to see ragging being the fiesta for a handful of organized students to play God just for these initial months of the academic year.
